How to work with Campaigns in HubSpot.

The campaigns tool in HubSpot allows you to tag related marketing assets and content, so you can easily measure the effectiveness of your collective marketing efforts.

Make sure to always tagg your pages, forms and emails with a campaign to be able to later follow up and analyze how the campaign has performed.

Below is some suggestions from Dirk Wierenga, Marketing BeNeLux on how to work with campaigns. 

EVENT - MARKETING

1. Build a campaign – what is the goal?

2. Build a Landing page

- Add Form

- Goal

3. Connect the form to the campaign to track ROI

4 a. Make static or active list and manually send emails 

If you feel comfortable and want to advance from manually sending emails to static or active lists you can use workflows:

4 b. Make a workflow

- email 1 looking forward to event

- email 2, during event

- email 3, thanks for participating – did you know?

- email 4, -etc.

EVENT – SALES

1. make a form and connect it to the campaign.

2. Let the sales rep add contacts through the form.

3. Track ROI

TARGETED MARKETING CAMPAIGN

1. Have a list with leads you want to reach out too

- make list based on contact properties

- create a list manually (import)

- make a list based on behavior with a workflow

2. Enroll this list into a workflow

3. Make a plan – map of emails.
IF/ THEN branches options:

- if opened

- if clicked

- if visited

THEN

- Send email X

- Make task (sales)

- Enroll into other workflow
